This dog harness is made of really strong materials. It seemed a little too large for my dog that weighs about 30 pounds (we bought a medium), but once it was adjusted it fit him, and I would say it can fit a dog about 45 pounds really well too. This is going to be a great tool to have for walking foster dogs since they get so excited when they can go out for walks that some of them pull really hard. I know that I am safe and the dog is safe while going on brisk walks in this harness. I am very happy with my purchase and will recommend to the fellow volunteers.
