This hands free leash is actually a multifunctional leash! I didn’t realize that at first, so I am so excited. Each end has very sturdy carabiners on it which are kind of heavy (which is a good thing), but I wouldn’t recommend tying a smaller dog up with this leash. You can use the leash to safely tie your dog up, hands-free shoulder courier style, walk two dogs on each end, and wear it around your waste for training. If you are training your dog on a leash for loose leash walking, please put a harness on your dog. It drives me nuts to see people with dogs that are pulling, or the people pulling on the necks of their dogs. It is SO bad for them. Ok, sorry rant over. I would absolutely recommend this leash to my friends with dogs. Very nice quality leash!
